UFC 249 earlier cancelled due to COVID19 is on !
In a recent announcement by UFC Chief Dana White, the fight will take place on a ‘secret island’ on 18th April. The event that will host 12 fights will be without fans. Interestingly, the showstopper fight was earlier scheduled between Khabib Nurmagomedov and title holder Tony Ferguson. However, the fight got cancelled for the fifth time.
Khabib pour out his thoughts and disappointment on Instagram citing the reasons of border lock down in Russia.
The fight will now happen between Justin Gaethje and Tony Ferguson in the main card entry.
The event is likely to take place in Tachi Palace Casino Resort, California.
