Legendary Indian Hockey captain Dhanraj Pillay says that Indian hockey team is all set to compete at Olympics 2021. The former skipper have represented India at various levels. He represented India in 339 games between 1989 and 2004.
Dhanraj Pillay is the one who took the initiative to bring Indian Hockey to a raised platform so that it could compete internationally.
During a press conference he raised his interest highlighting that this year Indian male Hockey team could compete well in the upcoming Tokyo Olympics. He also added that he is having high hopes with the Indian team this year.
The approaching two – three months are very essential, not just for Indian Hockey but for all who’ve already qualified for the mega event. Dhanraj Pillay highlighted his concerns on the ongoing pandemic and how it has affected the sports in all aspects.
