Tokyo, 23rd January 2020 : Olympic countries are gearing up for Tokyo 2020 as there are just few days to go to the largest sports carnival. As we are nearing the event dates, Tokyo is preparing itself in best form with new developments each day.

Latest modifications are being done for the Olympic Torch Relay beginning from 26th March 2020. The significance of Olympic torch journey is the most sacrosanct move to begin with. The journey will start from J Village National Training Centre, Fukushuma and will travel through 47 prefectures. Binding 121 days together in the heat of its flame, the torch relay will be the most significant symbol for Olympics 2020 and will touch down 858 local municipalities on its way.

Japan’s National Women Football Team will be among those lucky ones who will accompany the journey. Setting a benchmark with winning Japan’s first FIFA World Cup in 2011, the women’s team created the most uprising moments for Japan during the most scathing tragedy that took Japan by storm. 2011 was also the year when Japan was hit by the most dreaded earthquake. Japan rose with shine and pride as the women brought light of hope to the country.

Three poses will be available during the “Torch Kiss” ceremony that is passing the torch from one bearer to the other. The journey will carry the message of “Hope Light our Way”. The poses have also been labeled as “Connecting with Each Other” and the bearers can select any of the three to reflect and pose their moment with the torch.
