The first day & night match experimenting with pink ball is currently experimenting with commentators on roll
New Delhi : Star Sports has sent a letter to BCCI seeking approval to broadcast MS Dhoni as commentator for the test cricket series between India and Bangladesh. The letter has been proposed for the upcoming test series that is scheduled from November 22 at Kolkata.
Fans are more than happier and are eagerly waiting for the upcoming test matches. Eden Gardens will witness the debut of two new innovations. Pink ball making its debut in international cricket with team India and MS Dhoni making his debut as commentator. The day & night format will pull more fans as the game gets more interesting.
Ganguly fans will see the debut of pink ball under Dada’s regime and Dhoni fans are expecting new set of swinging words. While BCCI is yet to take a decision, fans from all around the world are pouring in their views.
Mahiya would do a great job as a commentator. His knowledge of the game is immense. Let's hope this news is true. All the best. @msdhoni #Dhoni

I really really wish guys like Dhoni, Tendulkar comes to do full time commentary so that we can stop listening to crap commentators like Kartik, Manjrekar and LSK for good. https://t.co/zFrUC3FkWC

Social media is receiving multiple reaction from fans. However, the debut is unlikely to happen considering BCCI’s stand. Source close to Dhoni has said that there is no way that Dhoni will commentate. Since the Cricket World Cup 2019, MS Dhoni is on a sabbatical. There have been many apprehensions of his retirement with fake news embroiling social media but an official statement is yet to surface.
But, whether it is Dhoni’s retirement or commentary, even a single utter about the skipper steals the deal with his fans taking the frontfoot hailing the super cricketer.
The ground belonged to Pant but the crowd belonged to Dhoni; the DRS tales
