Shares Journey of a Lifetime with Top Order Batswoman
Mumbai, 17th January 2020: Cricket Fan Vinesh comes across a journey of a lifetime. An encounter with Indian women cricketer Jemimah Rogrigues in the general compartment of a Mumbai’s local train has made his day topped with a selfie.
While on his way back home in Mumbai’s local train, Vinesh is waiting for the train to depart from Santa Cruz station. But something gasps his attention. A girl wearing shorts, carrying a backpack with her earphones on is waiting to board the train. It took few seconds to recognize the moment but Vinesh quickly did it. Yes, it was India all-rounder Jemimah Rogrigues taking a ride in the local suburbs. Fastening his steps towards the top order batswoman, Vinesh had flashes of her recent performance.
“Hi! Are you Jemimah Rodrigues!? “ asked Vinesh as soon as he covered those few steps that felt like a lifetime and the reply was worth celebrating the moment forever.
“Yes, Do you know me?”, replied Jemimah and Vinesh couldn’t believe his moment. While so much was going on in his mind, Vinesh quickly requested for a selfie and Jemimah was more than happy to do that.
An all-rounder cricketer who has been awarded Grade B categorical contract with the BCCI was witnessed taking a ride in the local train. Fans were not only astonished to see her simplicity but were adored to share a selfie with her.
Jemimah has been very active on social media. Sometimes she is seen playing guitar while some days she is sharing brotherly fights with her siblings. Jemimah is really good at making comic videos too that makes her strength of fans even stronger. She is not only celebrated for her performance on the field but her off field friendliness and fan interactions is always loved by the fans.
