Mumbai : Sports and Bollywood fans are all gearing up for the Ranveer starrer ’83, a film on India’s maiden World Cup victory. Kapil Dev was captaining the Indian side in 1983 and the blues recorded history that still resonates afresh.

The team is yet is doing its best to indulge into each move of the 1983 Indian squad that led the country to podium finish. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Kapil Dev. The entire entourage of ’83 even travelled to the Cricket World Cup 2019 to get into the zone of Cricket and the pressure of World Cup a team faces.

Ranveer Singh today released a picture of him posin the famous Natraj Shot that is the identity of Kapil Dev. Kapil Dev used to hop on one leg and put all his power to hit the ball. Raveer aped the shot aptly and succeeded in doing so. When he posted the shot on Twitter today, the Captain himself tweeted, “HATS OFF RANVEER!”

The post has picked up fire among fans and has been trending on all social media forums since it was uploaded. It has created more excitement in the fans. The film will be releasing in April 2020.
