From Pakistani fans being jailed to yearnings for Ind Vs Pak, fans passion remains undeterred
New Delhi: Virat Kohli receives a heart melting message from Pakistani Fan. Urging the top skipper to come & play in Pakistan, the video is going viral. Shot in Lahore during the final T20 clash between Sri Lanka & Pakistan, fan breaks all boundaries sharing his passion.
Virat Kohli, the top batsman of international order has a huge fan following. A fan from Punjab province of Pakistan shares a video holding a placard. The placard reads “We want to see you playing in Pakistan”.
While Virat Kohli is a much followed player, the love for the Cricketer has been taxing for few Pakistani fans.
In the year 2016, Umar Draz, Pakistani fan, was arrested for waiving Indian flag in support of Virat Kohli. Kohli stormed 90 runs during India Vs Australia T20 series. Umar quickly took India’s flag and waived on the rooftop of his house. Draz was later taken to the court where he was awarded 10 years imprisonment.
However, love for Kohli’s master class performance remains undeterred. Shahbaz Sharif Qasmi outpoured his passion & love for the Cricketer from the stadium.
Earlier in the year, Pakistan’s biggest fan, Chacha Cricket also expressed his wish for a similar match. Chacha Cricket urged the authorities for an “Imran-Kapil trophy” during Global Sports Fan Awards held on the sidelines of Cricket World Cup 2019.
