Fans took the ICC rule by troll that says the team with maximum number of boundaries wins the match.
Is this gully/street cricket? You decided a world cup winner with number of boundaries. Ridiculous. Add even street cricket rules like 2 declare, 3 declare etc. Rules are rules after all. Worst. #CricketWorldCup2019 #CWC19Final #ENGvsNZ #CricketWorldCup

Fans fuming in anger trolled ICC .
The first World Cup win for England failed to excite fans from worldwide. Today, exactly after three months of Cricket World Cup’s conclusion, ICC scrapped the “Super Over Rule”.
Followed by a board meeting in Dubai, the apex body heard the appeal of fans and granted a no show to the Super Over rule. Fans are celebrating this change worldwide.
The new rule states, “In group stages, if the Super Over is tied the match will be tied. In Semi Finals and Finals, there is one change to the Super Over regulation in keeping with the basic principle of scoring more runs than the opponent to win, the Super Over will be repeated until one team has more runs than the other.”
Here’s how fans are welcoming the new move that came to life of the fans;
Finally they have understood!
What a rubbish rule it was!
Though i'm so much happy that england has won,but there are some people who left no stone unturned to critisize them! Though England had the ability to win that match! however,better late than never!— Lamia Rahman (@LamiaRahman20) October 14, 2019
@JimmyNeesh @benstokes38 Boundary count scrapped as tie breaker in ICC events. Instead the super over is going to be repeated as many times until one teams wins. Looking forward to see you both clash again in the finals of T20 World Cup 2019 final or the World Cup 2023. #ICC

Better sense prevailed finally.
Wish they'd scrapped it before WC only so that nobody would've complained over England winning the WC in Contd super over/overs. https://t.co/YlFvkEaRtJ— Akshay Sharma (@ViratsMSDBhakti) October 14, 2019
