Tarun from Himachal has done a great job in judoka

Silver medal came in Himachal’s bag at the Senior National Judo Championships. This honour has been given to the State by Tarun Sharma of Dhirad Panchayat of Hamirpur. Senior National Judo Championships were played in Jammu and Kashmir from 9th to 13th March. In the championship, seven women and seven men from the state participated, in which Tarun Sharma of Hamirpur got the state silver medal in 90 kg weight category. On winning the Silver Medal of Tarun Sharma, the State Judo Association congratulated him. Tarun told that most of his studies have been done in Punjab. Tarun Sharma’s father Sanjeev Kumar Vidyut Board is working in Punjab and is a mother housewife. Tarun told that he got his inspiration from Judeo game from his uncle Dharmaveer who is a good player of wrestling and judo. Tarun has given credit for his victory to Harmeet Singh, who is a coach of Judeo in GNDU Amritsar.
Tarun said that he also dreamed of winning a medal for India with Himachal. He is also preparing for national, international competition, Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games.
